This is likely the luckiest coin in existence. The all seeing eye is keeping it's eye on 7 lucky symbols; the elephant (raised trunk), a scarab, four leafed clover, horseshoe, a lucky rabbits foot, a wishbone and an acorn (who knew?). For good measure, I threw good ole lucky number 7 on the flip side.
The design is based off an old timey lucky penny that was made in the 1930's. The original design had some swastika's on it so was clearly made before Hitler ruined that symbol forever. I decided to replace them...for obvious reasons.
Deep laser engraved.
1.25" diameter solid Copper
Aegishjalmr: known as the Viking symbol of protection. Viking warriors used to draw Aegishjalmr on their foreheads to be protected from their enemies and to instill fear in them but you can just carry it in your pocket since you're likely not going into battle soon.

1.25" diameter x around .350" thick solid Brass

There are two certainties..
I couldn't help but notice the pirate population exploding of late. Time to go hunting.
Use this as a standard flip (heads or tails) coin. Great ball marker too...obviously.

My dad passed away from multiple cancers in 2018. In early 2018, I machined a "worry coin" for him and stamped Fuck cancer on it. He'd carry it with him during his chemo. You may or may not have seen the free version that we make available on occasion. I've never intended on making a paid version but, after many requests, I'm finally giving in. This will also allow us to bring in more of the free versions for folks that don't have the funds for this one.Â
These are CNC machined and then laser engraved but I'm keeping them as affordable as possible.
1.25" diameter solid Brass
Memento Mori | Remember you must die.
more importantly...
Memento Vivere | Remember you must LIVE
Some of you may see this as morbid to have on the back of a Fuck cancer coin but, for me, it makes more sense than anything and I know my dad would have agreed. Or not...you never knew with that guy.
I believe in making my own luck...but doesn't hurt to have a little superstition in the pocket for back up. Makes a great ball marker as well.

I've had many requests for a sobriety coin I felt like there were many options out there and I don't like the idea of profiting from addiction. Recently I had a new friend share some personal challenges so I was inspired to design one for her son.
HOW THIS WORKS:
This coin is now holding you accountable. When you hit the next year milestone, contact us and we will replace it for free. My hope is that over the years we are losing money on these.
If you're beyond the three year mark, choose "more than 3" and write the year in notes at checkout.
STRUGGLING FINANCIALLY?
If you're struggling with finances and you think this coin will benefit you with your struggles with addiction, please contact us and we will work something out.

Anthony's story
I'm not a stranger to the addicting quality of drugs and alcohol. "Runs in the family" but I'd argue it runs in the species. Existing is a daily struggle and it's easy to look for a quick solution to numb that struggle. For most of us, it starts innocently enough with our peer group but evolves into a way to relax or a reward at the end of a hard day to a way to cope with daily struggles. The story may not be the same for everyone but it ends up being the same for everyone. To be clear, I'm not for banning anything but I do believe that drugs and alcohol are poison to the mind and body...but so is sugar and fast food. If you're the type that can have an occasional drink and have it not impact you or your loved ones negatively, go for it. I happen to be this type of person but it's a slippery slope. One drink a night for a few nights in a row and the struggle ensues so I cut myself off for weeks, if not months. I finished that sentence and walked away for a moment because I had to ask myself a question...if having a few drinks causes a problem of wanting it daily, what am I doing drinking at all? Some self reflection is in order.
Joshua Tree tales, part...whatever.
Memory is funny. I have fond memories of Joshua Tree from my childhood but if I were really forced to sit down and hash it out, my sister and I were bored pretty much the majority of the time. I had a daily checklist I'd go through...BB gun, hang out in the gully, Lincoln Logs/army men and sometimes Peanuts puzzle. Not actual peanuts but a Peanuts puzzle with a missing piece. No other puzzles...just that one. This little fidget is an homage to that box of Lincoln Logs.
I hadn't seen the box for decades but, after my Grams passed (and the tweaker/looters were done) we found this box. The photo is the same box from my childhood. It was under the bed in the guest bedroom for decades. I'm not sure whose they were but either my dads or one of my uncles when they were kids. I can't say that we were over the moon playing with them, just curing some boredom and getting out of the heat but the feeling of the memory gives me joy. I guess that's just how it works.
When I started going through the box, I was surprised out how fidgety the little connectors were. I then thought.."dang...what if I cut it in half and put some magnets in?". So I did and my suspicions were confirmed.
The pics of the original wood prototype are not included with your purchase.

"imperfect" version is due to minor chips on the board. The thin walls make it fragile while machining and easy to break. The choice was throw out a bunch of Walnut with minor imperfections but totally usable or sell them at a discount.
