Northern exposure...

There was a series called Northern Exposure in the 90's. I loved it. I love it. I just got Lisa into it. I was obsessed with the idea of living in Cicely, Alaska until I found out it was a fictional town and was actually filmed in Washington. No matter...what I really wanted was the small town and everything that comes with it.

My problem was being paralyzed with the fear of the unknown so I never did anything about it. Just stayed in Southern California and figured I'd die here but now I'm 51 and your mind starts doing weird things when you start seeing people die and step children grow up and the world go a little crazy.

Sutter Creek, Ca is one of the original gold mining towns and we love everything about it. As I mentioned, the move is bittersweet because of friends and family but life is short and the world is big and I need to experience more of it with my lovely wife.
